My name is Simone Becker. I am originally from Cupertino, California. I graduated from Muhlenberg College with my elementary education teaching certification (PreK-6) and my theatre degree (with a focus in directing and stage management) and graduated with my M.S in Educational Theatre program at City College with my K-12 theatre teaching license. I've worked in many arts education contexts in various states over the years. Currently, I am located in Brooklyn, NY where I am a theatre/arts integration educator, director and arts administrator who is passionate about creating spaces for student storytelling, arts-integrated learning and educational equity through the arts and community. I currently work with NYC public schools as a theatre teacher. I also lead professional development with educators on topics such as Neurodiverse Learners in the Arts, Arts Integration and Theatre Fundamentals.
